Rion NL-X3 Range

All Purpose Sound Level Monitoring from Rion.

The NL-43, NL-53 and NL-63 Sound Level Meters are designed with a full colour LCD screen with touch panel for ease of use. They are water resistant, can use rechargeable batteries and are capable of recording sound data for up to 1000 hours.

All three units are capable of measuring A, C and Z frequency weighted measurements with either F (Fast), S (Slow) or I(Impulse) time weightings. The NL-63 is also capable of measuring G frequency weighted measurements. Each meter is capable of measuring four different settings simultaneously, and saving both instantaneous and calculated values. Along with the following values and statistics:

The Rion NL-43, NL-53 and NL-63 are water resistant to a rating of IP54.

Options

NX-43EX

By installing the Extended Function Program NX-43EX, the following functions are added to the NL-43/NL-53.

• Auto store function (including Maker function)
• I-time-weighted calculation function
• Comparator function
• Trigger function for measurement start
• LAN communication
• Continuous data output function
• Other optional programs such as Waveform Recording Program NX-43WR can be installed

NX-43FT

The NX-43FT software allows the unit to function as an FFT analyzer. In addition to sound levels (up to four conditions), FFT analysis processing and calculation of the Partial Overall (POA) values for specified ranges are possible.

NX-43RT

The NX-43RT software allows the unit to function as an octave and 1/3 octave real-time analyzer. In addition to sound level (up to 4 conditions), octave or 1/3 octave band analysis and calculation of the partial overall (POA) value of the specified band are possible.

NX-43WR

The NX-43WR software adds sound pressure waveform recording functionality. Sound pressure waveforms are recorded on the SD card along with the store data as a WAVE file in PCM format.

Logging Kit

The NL-X3 series sound level meters are available from ARL with an optional logging kit that extends the capabilities of the sound level meter’s to become a fully featured noise logger.
